Tatung University Short-Term Student Exchange Scholarships

Approved by the administration and President Lin on May 8, 2001

I. Objective

To encourage students to participate in the Short-Term Student Exchange Program

II. Requirements

1. Matriculated undergraduates with an academic average of 75 or higher and a conduct record of 80 or higher.

2. Acceptance into the overseas program.

3. Departmental approval.

III. Scholarships

1. Scholarship funds are allocated based on yearly scholarship funding and the number of qualified students. Both partial and full scholarships are awarded to our students.

2. The school provides financial assistance in the following: travel expenses, living expenses, costs of books, and miscellaneous fees.

IV. Application Package

1. Application Form

2. Certificate of Admissions Issued by the University Abroad

3. Proposed Course of Study

4. Copy of Student ID (Registered Students)

V. Scholarships are awarded for half-year of university study, and students may apply for scholarships up to two times during their undergraduate career. . Students must be registered at Tatung University to be considered for the scholarships.

VI. Once participants return to Tatung University, they can apply to transfer their overseas credits by submitting a credit transfer application and an official transcript issued by the school abroad. Prior to traveling abroad, students must verify with the department which credits are transferable.

VII. The above regulations will be in effect the second semester of 2000-2001 academic year.

VIII. The above regulations will be implemented once they are approved by the administration and the President.
