Academic Exchange
Our school maintains academic and cultural relations with
16 prestigious universities of Great Britain, the United States,
Japan and Korea. The goal of such interactions is fourfold:
1) To enhance the faculty's level of academic excellence,
2) To improve research conducted at Tatung University, 3)
To broaden the faculty and students' international perspective,
and 4) To stimulate cultural contacts with schools abroad.
Current programs include:
1. Tatung University Summer Fellowships. Yearly, our school
sends a team of pre-selected outstanding faculty members to
affiliated schools for further studies and research opportunities.
We also welcome visits from professors, lecturers and students
overseas
2. Seminar Series. We invite world-renowned scholars for
school-wide
seminars. All visits are fully subsidized, and some other
related allowances
are also furnished for our visitors.
3. Study Abroad. Our school grants student exchange scholarships
and provides many study abroad opportunities for students.
The
school is involved in every stage of the study abroad process,
from
the initial application to the transfer of academic credits.
4. Internships. We offer internships for foreign students.
5. Library Collections. We exchange published books, academic
journals,
scholarly papers, and other documents with affiliated schools.
